The Act party called a conference on the issue of Foreshore, Law and Politics. Owen McShane, director of the CRMS was invited to chair a panel of Government MPs who had been invited to attend. None of the Government MPs turned up so Owen McShane felt obliged to attempt to explain how the government had got itself into such a mess on this matter while they had been so resolute in their dealings with similar claims to Oil and Gas. This paper is the outcome.
